| Let's look at the components of this phrase. |
| The words Ik zou graag mean, "I would like to." |

| The next two words are voor vanavond, which mean, "for tonight." |

"Zou" is a form from the auxiliary verb "zullen" and it always supports another verb. In your sentence that would be "willen"

That depends a bit on the context of the sentence. If you are want to call a restaurant and ask them to make a reservation , you will have to use "willen" _ Ik wil een tafel reserveren. ( I would like to reserve a table). If you want to let a friend know that you will make the reservation for tonight than you can just do with the verb " reserveren") _ Ik reserveer voor vanavond. ( I will make a reservation for tonight)

" Zou graag willen" can be translated as " would like to". If there is something that you want you can make it the question more friendly by adding " zou graag".
As for asking for a coffee;
* Ik zou graag een koffie willen.
* Een koffie graag.
* Ik wil een koffie. ( is correct but not really used alot since it sounds..kinda rude?"

I don't understand why there is in the same frase "zou graag" and "willen". What I could capture is that willen is linked to reserveren while zou graag is to een tafel, but I'm not sure if it makes sense.
For example, if I ask for a coffee could I just say "Ik graag een koffie?" or I have to put willen somewhere?
I like more more more to study this language but, first time that I hard applied this course you told me it is free fore life, but it is different for that and you ask me every day I have to buy it. After that I appreciate your best and easiest way that you expose or teach the lessons, it good manner I found it.

The staff will probably respond with something like "dank u wel" or "tot ziens". Does this come
close to the answer that you've heard?
