Jessi: Top 25 Dutch Questions You Need to Know - Lesson 2: Where are you from? in Dutch (In each lesson of this 25 part series, you'll master a common question for Dutch learners, and then learn how to answer it like a native. You'll quickly conquer the mechanics of key phases by leaning each component . Then the repetition and the introduction of new vocabulary you expand your understanding of the question its answers and any slight variations. The first word in the question where you from is

Jessi: Listen to the phrase again, this time with France
Jacob: Ik kom uit Frankrijk.
Jessi: The first part stays the same. Simply replace the Netherlands. Say I'm from France.

Jessi: Switch France with Germany.
Jacob: Duitsland
Jessi: Germany
Jacob: (slow) Duitsland (regular) Duitsland
Jessi: Listen to the phrase again, this time with Germany

Jessi: The first Stays the same. Just replace France. Say I'm from Germany.
